SHUTS DOWN DOUBTERS WITH
‘FLEX ON’
After releasing two singles and an EP in 2020, Adelaide Hip-Hop Artist Boffa continues to deliver and returns with his forthcoming single ‘Flex On’, taken from his upcoming album ‘The Deeper You Dive, The Realer It Gets’.
The single is scheduled for release on April 1st, serving as the first taste of what’s to come on the album, which will follow on April 7th.
Written by Boffa himself, with production by Strazdine and mixing and mastering by Deeza, ‘Flex On’ is an explosive ode to the rejections Boffa received during the early days of his music career, and how he was able to transcend them. The song is definitely a sonic tonic that highlights Boffa’s energy-burning precision in rapping, layered with spacey beats that aid the song’s fighting mode and pick-me-up vibe.
While the pandemic initially slowed down Boffa’s momentum, he persevered and nonetheless committed to his craft. “I went from performing one show after another, to suddenly nothing,” he said, admitting that he felt demotivated for a while.
But the unrelenting emotions behind his songs fuelled his pursuit to let his creative process unfold and to share his fire to the rest of the world.

Boffa’s shapeshifting styles in music have been influenced by the artists he has embraced throughout the years, which includes Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tom Jones, Michael Jackson, and Eminem, among others. This extensive and genre-defying background has allowed Boffa to be as versatile and prolific as he can be with his craft.
Since 2018, he has headlined many live shows in his city—sealing his place as one of Adelaide’s most promising emerging emcees. His previous projects also gained notable media coverage, including interviews, live performances, and nods from Fresh FM, WOW FM, and Adelaide TV, among others.
Boffa is currently in the writing stage of his next project and is eyeing to join the Festival Circuit, once restrictions are lifted.
With an avalanche of new music on the horizon, Boffa is definitely one artist to keep an eye on, as he gains momentum and is set to make his mark both locally and abroad over the coming years.
