SONNY FODERA ENLISTS KOLIDESCOPES AND SINEAD HARNETT FOR SUMMER ANTHEM ‘NAH’

SONNY FODERA ENLISTS

KOLIDESCOPES AND

SINEAD HARNETT FOR

SUMMER ANTHEM ‘NAH’

After racking up 300M global streams in the past year alone, Sonny Fodera returns with fresh summer anthem Nah, featuring stellar R&B artist Sinead Harnett and co-produced with KOLIDESCOPES

The new single follows hits like Turn Back Time (feat. Diplo), BPI certified silver single One Night (feat. MK) and more recently Closer (feat. Lilly Ahlberg). Set to add to Sonny’s impressive streaming milestones, Nah weaves Sinead’s signature soul fuelled vocals with breath-taking chord builds and an unforgettable breakdown destined to reign this summer.

Set to be a favourite amongst crowds, Nah also arrives ahead of Sonny Fodera’s sold-out UK tour in October, selling 40,000 tickets including two sold out shows at Liverpool Bramley Moore Dock, Printworks as well as Finsbury Park this summer with Gorgon City. Continuing the hype across the pond, Sonny’s co-headline US tour with Dom Dolla this Autumn is set to sell out with dates in New York and Los Angeles.

No stranger to each other’s talent, Nah marks the third collab between Sonny Fodera and Sinead Harnett, with Sonny previously remixing Sinead’s Unconditional whilst Sinead featured on Into You, amassing 40M global streams. Also an artist in her own right, Sinead Harnett graces Nah after her critically acclaimed second album Ready Is Always Too Late, reinstating her as a true rising R&B icon.

Also joining forces with KOLIDESCOPES for the first time, Nah is in safe hands with the esteemed duo behind the global hit and double platinum, UK official no.1 Head & Heart from Joel Corry ft. MNEK. With a video also in the pipeline, Nah marks only the beginning of a monumental few months ahead for Sonny Fodera.

Sonny Fodera, KOLIDESCOPES Nah (feat. Sinead Harnett) is out now via Solotoko.

KOLIDESCOPES Bio

‘KOLIDESCOPES is an international duo comprised of musician/producers Johnny Courtidis and Dan Dare. Courtidis first made waves as one half of Melbourne, Australia-based indie-house duo Parachute Youth, whose 2012 single “Can’t Get Better Than This” reached #1 in nine countries, earning platinum sales and more than 50m streams. Meanwhile, London-based Dan Dare also proved an in-demand songwriter and producer, collaborating with Charli XCX, Marina & The Diamonds, and Giggs, to name a few.

Meeting at Matrix Studios in London, England; Courtidis and Dare each immediately recognized a kindred spirit and quickly bonded over their tough childhoods and shared love of music. Together they have created tracks such as “Focus,” “All My Love,” and “Foundations” which proved worldwide club favorites. KOLIDESCOPES ascended to the top of singles charts around the world last year as co-writers and co-producers of the #1 global hit, Joel Corry’s “Head & Heart (Feat. MNEK).” The track proved a sensation upon its July 2020 release, spending six consecutive weeks atop the UK Singles Chart while also reaching top 3 on Billboard’s “Hot Dance/Electronic Songs” chart. “Our mission,” say KOLIDESCOPES, “is for us to write meaningful songs that people can dance to.

It’s music for day and nighttime. Everything we write comes from an organic place. It’s dance music we’re writing, but it isn’t put-your-hands-in-the-air-and-go-fucking-mad dance music. We want to put our soul into what we’re doing.”

About Sinéad Harnett

Lauded UK Los Angeles-based R&B singer and songwriter Sinéad Harnett’s 2019 debut album, Lessons in Love, told the story of learning about her flaws and patterns and figuring out how not to repeat them. The LP yielded the breakout single “If You Let Me,” which has surpassed 70 million streams on Spotify alone. Her highly anticipated forthcoming sophomore album, Ready Is Always Too Late, celebrates being ready to embody the best version of yourself. In doing so, Sinéad fully acknowledges the lack of confidence and low level of self-worth of her past self in order to embrace the woman she wants to be in the present. “There’s always been this theme of ‘I’m not ready yet,’” she says. “I’ve really had to be disciplined in thinking of that little girl that was on the piano.”
