Lab Six Records debutant PAO combines sentiment and flow for his latest track ‘Eyes On The Road (feat. Yukimura)’. New to the Australian music scene, his sound explodes with colourful synths layered with vocal chops whilst auto-tuned vocals from Yukimura envelope layers of deeper meaning, the result being a fresh take on future bass.
Injecting emotion back into an upbeat and pop-laden top line, ‘Eyes On The Road’ encapsulates an accessible understanding of reflective experience for listeners driven by strong bass at its core. Structured and spacious verses of lo-fi vocals from Yukimura and dreamy verbed-out guitar primes the unleashing of a synth heavy drop, rhythmically chopped to counteract any chance of recycled familiarity. The track echoes the excitement associated with connecting to new places and forming new relationships having been produced over multiple locations in Northern WA.
