This week, we’re celebrating 20 years of Powderfinger’s Odyssey Number Five, which gave us the gift of one of the most iconic anthems in Australian music history: My Happiness.
The 11-track album has been blown out to 21 tracks, with the inclusion of B-sides ‘Nature Boy’ and ‘Fuzzy Wolf’, acoustic renditions of ‘My Happiness’ and ‘Up and Down and Back Again’, and five covers.
Odyssey Number Five was recently certified 10x platinum by ARIA for Aus sales in excess of 700,000 in July 2020 and achieved Diamond accreditation for sales over half a million copies not to mention multiply spots in triple j’s hottest 100’s.
