Australian-born global sensation Sam Fischer today announces he will return to his native Sydney later this month to perform an exclusive headline set at The Vanguard.
On Wednesday 29 March, Sam will take in Newtown’s intimate venue for one night only, performing songs from his impressive catalogue along with brand new music.

Last in Australia in 2022 supporting UK star Mimi Webb on her national tour, Sam blew audiences away with his on-stage charisma and charm, and sensational live vocal performance.
“It’s been 13 years since I’ve spent more than 2 weeks at home in Australia and though my ginger, pale, sun-burn prone skin may not be ready for it, my soul definitely is. I can’t wait to be back to get amongst it with the greatest people in the world”, said Sam.
He returns to our shores with a stunning new single; ‘High On You’ featuring Amy Shark. Acoustic guitars form the gentle underbelly of the track, which celebrates finding joy in relationships during turbulent times. Ethereal vocal harmonies between Sam and Amy are the star attraction and the song bolsters Sam’s momentum as an artist to watch for the year ahead.
Sam Fischer first introduced himself with his Not A Hobby EP and has achieved well deserved attention since for his heartfelt songs. With his debut hit ‘This City’taking off globally, and now with over one billion streams to his name, Sam is riding high on a huge wave of success. He has performed live on US television shows Jimmy Kimmel and The Late Late Show with James Corden, and his duet with Demi Lovato – ‘What Other People Say’ – has sold over 1 million copies and saw him perform the track on Ellen alongside Demi Lovato.
