Sharing one last treat for 2023, Brisbane’s Odd Mob at long last releases the dance floor weapon ‘Give You’. Better known as his ‘Devotion Tool’, the track has been a staple in his own performances and in the sets of Dom Dolla, Chris Lake, Fisher, Eats Everything and Biscits throughout this year. Shaped around tasty grabs of 90’s classic ‘(I Wanna Give You) Devotion)’ by Nomad, this is peak Odd Mob at its finest. Coupled together with his signature larger than life bass tones that have brought people together across continents at major festivals and the deepest of rave caves, it will no doubt have everyone locked to groove and indulging in the deep once more.
2023 has been Odd Mob’s biggest year yet having already returned to North America for countless back to back tours across March, April, May, July, September and November into December. He has been playing all major cities, alongside performances at the likes of EDC Las Vegas, Coachella, Hard Summer, Shambhala, Sunset Music Festival, not to mention playing at the BMO Stadium soon alongside John Summit and Mau P on the 16th of December. Not stopping there, Odd Mob was also named 42nd in the 2023 1001 Tracklist Top 100 Producers.
Non-stop proving his versatility and talent both behind the decks and in the studio, the last twelve months has seen Odd Mob release tune after tune including the addictive ‘XTC’ plus official remixes for the likes of Hayden James, Martin Solveig, Jax Jones, D.O.D and The Jungle Giants. Constantly pushing boundaries, his expertly crafted creations have earnt Odd Mob the support of a plethora of industry heavyweights including the likes of Diplo, Fred Again.., Jauz, Oliver Heldens, Fatboy Slim, Don Diablo, Tiesto, and Disclosure. However, it is without a doubt that ‘Losing Control’ has been his biggest moment so far, skyrocketing to #1 on the Beatport Top 100 as the highest selling record on the platform in the first few days of release and garnering over 1.5 million streams across platforms in the first two weeks. Odd Mob, firmly planting himself at the forefront of electronic music around the globe.
