MY KID BROTHER
ARE BACK WITH NEW SINGLE
Fearless Records is pleased to announce the signing of Leesburg, Virginia-based band My Kid Brother to the roster. The band, which fuses piano with wistful psychedelic melodies, quirky guitars, hummable harmonies and male-female vocal interplay, has just shared the brand new song “Pastels” – listen here.
“I was in a different state of mind,” says lead vocalist Christian Neonakis about the track. “It was the first time I had experienced something like that. So I wrote a song.”
My Kid Brother previously shared the song “Native Tongue” – listen here. Upon release, the track was added to the Loudwire Weekly Wire playlist while The Honey Pop declared, “We are patiently waiting to hear more from My Kid Brother, but until then, we have this bop to enjoy!”
My Kid Brother is Christian Neonakis (vocals/guitar), Piano Whitman (keyboard/vocals), Sam Athanas (drums), Dylan Savopoulos (guitar) and Richard Smith (bass). After three years of flaunting their serene and nostalgic tunes across the US, My Kid Brother are the latest to join the Fearless family alongside artists to the likes of I Prevail, Pierce The Veil, Underoath and Australia’s own Eat Your Heart Out among others.
My Kid Brother has joined Social Animals in supporting Angels and Airwaves on a couple of dates on the Summer Tour in the US beginning Saturday May 30.
More information about My Kid Brother’s Fearless Records debut will be announced soon. “Pastels” is out now and available at all online stores and streaming platforms!
