Produced by British producer duo Slim Typical (M24, MORGAN, Professor Green, Rudimental), “Southside Dilla” heralds the recent throwback to the iconic era of hip-hop that inspired him to make music with gritty street realism, catchy hooks, and hard-hitting beats, and pays homage to how far he’s come

“Working with Slim Typical on this was dope, we were in London with Olantekkers and there was a heatwave going on, we kept grinding and the end result was this heater” Day1 says of the track.

The accompanying music video was shot in Paris and London by 17-year-old Sydney creative Jack Billiau, and features some captivating street landscapes. Watch HERE.
