NEW SINGLE

“LAST RITES”

Oozing sultry energy, Last Rites takes its place as the latest offering from Colletto Bianco’s enthralling epic.

Delving into the mystery of Colletto’s mind, Last Rites seduces listeners into the bold and unsettling world of the dramatic character project. Last Rites is a reminiscent love song dedicated to a lover passed as Colletto Bianco struggles to reconcile his loss, contemplating the one who kept him anchored and helped him steer what was left of his moral compass.

Equipped with an animation created in collaboration with masters of their craft Chris Yeeand Emily Arthur (Justin Bieber, Sam Smith, Genesis Owusu), Last Rites is immortalised in dark, brooding visuals that tell a tale in itself. Watch here.

Enlisting Elliott Gallart (SPEED, Justice For The Damned) as co-writer and producer in the writing process, Last Rites is chapter three in the Colletto story. Grammy award winning music engineer John Greenham (Billie Eilish, Ashnikko, Lady Gaga) joined the team to master the track, emphasising the tracks smoking room-esque allure.

Last Rites is the thoughtful soul-pop successor to last years Throne release after being baptised into Colletto’s chaotic day-to-day life in the video montage for debut single, Choke.

Italian for ‘White Collar’, Colletto Bianco is an uncompromisingly bold, film noir villain cinematic affair. The character project is the solo artist arrival of frontman Joel Martoranafrom rock outfits, Peace Ritual and Endless Heights.

Martorana weaves eclectic visual and musical influences through Colletto’s seams, defying genre boundaries in an intimately familiar way. Challenging passé notions of masculinity, identity, mental health and self growth while exploring the influence of Martorana’s Sicilian roots.

Colletto Bianco is an ode to Martorana’s heritage, and a glimpse into his own sense of self, juggling a life of creativity with the corporate world. Last year Colletto Bianco made an appearance at Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum for one night only to showcase an unparalleled live show, featuring live painting from Shaun Allen of Nerve Damage.

Last Rites is available now and streaming everywhere. Watch above
