The newest Bricklayers single ‘Scrambled Eggs‘, has been released on Wednesday, September 2nd. ‘Scrambled Eggs‘ sees front-man Glenzy produce a furious introspective dissection of the plight of the working class, with shrieks of overworked and underpaid.
The band have seemingly created an ode to the fuckery of the endless toil that rarely results in any more than stale bread and breakfast alone. The band match his frustration and despair, weaving an anxiety of guitar lines and bends above the trudging incursion of its thunderous rhythm section. ‘Scrambled Eggs’ hurtles to its end amid a chorus of shrieks and cries imparting its irreverence to our capitalist slave trade as it goes.
Bricklayers debut album released in August 2019 was celebrated for its “haunting tones” and described as “pure bliss mixed with an unshakable joy that’ll leave you humming for days”.

“The whole record swings from tender tracks to rocking riffs. If this is what Bricklayers are capable of on their first release, then we can’t wait to hear what they come up with next”
