On the new track, LIMBS vocalist Austin McAuley shares: “’Stare’ was written and based on honest self-reflection. It resonates with fear, and the burdens related to loving and losing. It talks of being haunted by prior actions and carrying a perpetual sense of personal destruction as a result. To love means to [eventually] lose…in any capacity.”
Last year LIMBS found a home with UNFD ahead of the release of their debut albumFather’s Son – a dark and brooding look at a young man’s journey out of religion as he comes to terms with both his upbringing and his own actions. A conceptual album following a young man breaking free from his indoctrinated upbringing, Father’s Son explores the strength in reclaiming your own life.
Earlier in 2019 the band announced long-time friend Austin McAuley as their newest member and debuted his involvment in the band with the single ‘Abandoned’.
Now armed with ‘Stare’, LIMBS will step out on the road in North America with Sharptooth this week. Full dates and details available HERE.
