Seminal dance-duo Orbital have taken DMA’S beautifully dark and euphoric track ‘Life Is A Game Of Changing’ and further elevated it into another stratosphere with the addition of dramatic keyboards and emphatic drum programming. Coming in at just over five minutes of electronic bliss, Orbital’s rework isolates Tommy O’Dell’s iconic vocals, giving them space to sit on top the wonderfully, messy beat. DMA’S recently played to a sold-out crowd at London’s Brixton Academy (5,000 cap) and sold 8,000 tickets in a matter of hours to their Castlefield Bowl in Manchester in July. In celebration of this huge feat, the band launched a competition for fans who pre-order the album the chance to be flown to Manchester to witness the monumental show, full details here.
The band will then embark on a massive UK album tour celebrating their highly anticipated forthcoming album THE GLOW (out Friday 24 April through I Oh You) – which will see them play their biggest London headline show to date, before heading home to play Splendour In The Grass in July.
