BAKERS EDDY RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘T-SHIRT’ + HEADLINE TOUR KICKING OFF THIS MONTH

BAKERS EDDY RELEASE NEW SINGLE

‘T-SHIRT’ + HEADLINE TOUR

KICKING OFF THIS MONTH

Bakers Eddy return with a cracking new single ‘T-Shirt’ – a melancholic anthem from the Melbourne-via-Wellington pop-punk powerhouse, premiered by triple j’s Good Nights with Bridget Hustwaite.

Bursting into focus via the band’s addictive pop-punk energy, ‘T-Shirt’ also leans into the deep, unpolished feelings that come with a breakup, as explained by lead singer Ciarann Babbington:

“I wrote the song after a long-distance relationship came to an end. I was in the middle of that messy period where all you do is think of this person and you seem to forget why you fell apart. It’s me dealing with regret and trying to make sense of all these feelings and emotions.”

‘T-Shirt’ was produced by Jon Grace (Dear Seattle, Jax Anderson, Northeast Party House, Dune Rats) & mixed by Grammy Award-nominated producer Doug Boehm (Girls, Twin Peaks, Tokyo Police Club), and follows the band’s recent singles ‘On My Own’ & ‘Can’t Afford It’.

Bakers Eddy will celebrate the release of ‘T-Shirt’ with a string of new live dates, including headline shows in Melbourne (Fri 20 Mar), Sydney (Sat 21 Mar), Wollongong (Sun 22 Mar), Brisbane (Fri 27 Mar), Perth (Fri 3 Apr) and Adelaide (Fri 10 Apr). Following the tour, the band play Collision Festival (Sat 4 Apr) before going on tour with Slowly Slowly across April – May. The busy touring schedule follows a non-stop summer of shows, including Party In The Paddock, NYE on the Hill, Festival of the Sun & more.

The band dominated critic’s ‘best of’ lists at last year’s Bigsound Festival, with The Music gushing “everyone wanted a piece of Bakers Eddy by week’s end.” Bakers Eddy are garnering a reputation for being one of the most exciting new live acts in the country.

Don’t miss your chance to catch Bakers Eddy’s renowned & raucous live show in the flesh
