‘PSYCHE’ OUT NOW
Victoria’s VISIONER are today returning with the news of their brand new single and video ‘Psyche’. The new single will be released into the world on Friday April 30 and can be pre-saved at https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/visioner/psyche.
Forming in ‘2016’, Visioner are well known for their energetic live performances, heavy riffs and catchy melodic choruses. They arrived strong, releasing their debut EP ‘Adversity’ in 2016, single ‘Sociopath’ in 2018 and their Sophomore EP ‘Lucid Entity’ in 2019. In that short amount of time, they have shared the stage with National and International acts such as Parkway Drive, Dream on Dreamer, The Getaway Plan, In Hearts Wake, Northlane, Deez Nuts and Make Them Suffer.
2021 brings a new start for Visioner, adding their new vocalist Robbie Wilson to the line up for this new single.
Wilson, says that “Once I heard the dark instrumental vibe for Psyche, the idea for me was to write about something I had struggled with in my past. The song touches on a time of insanity that I had dealt with from making mistakes lead on from drug abuse. I went against all my morals from being in an altered state of mind, feeling paranoid that I was hated by all of those who I had held close and called friends.”
“Realising that all of it was just in my head I pulled myself out of what was a horrible experience but came out strong-willed and knowing not to put myself in that place ever again. I really just wanted to share my experience and try to help anyone who has struggled with or is struggling with drug abuse and the horrible state of mind that it can sink you into, knowing that you are not alone and you can come out of it stronger.”
The band will help to usher this massive metalcore track into the world supporting Thornhill and Bloom on May 2nd in Albury, Victoria at Beer Deluxe.

‘Psyche’ was produced, mixed & mastered by Chris Lalic (Windwaker, Rumours, The Last Martyr)and the video for it was produced & directed by Crow River Visuals (Jackson Bentley and Indey Salvestro).
