Our favourite misfits Profanity Fair are finally releasing their long awaited debut album The Bombastic Bop and it is every bit as wild as we could’ve dreamed. Full of the Profanity Fair feeling we all love and know, this album is a must listen for any fan of energetic rock.
In the truest of DIY fashions, the boys handled everything on this album from writing the songs to recording them in Tye’s home studio to mastering them into their final product and the result is a spectacular and completely organic body of work. Profanity Fair stayed true to their sound and also themselves with the songs in this album being a testament to that.
In terms of the inspirations and meaning surrounding the album, the band’s frontman Tyesays, “It’s really easy to hate people. The things they say…the choices they make. Solipsism runs rampant in our minds.”
“A vicious cycle of resentment, consideration, understanding and finally apathy. The album we created is our best take on the things we loathe and the eventual begrudging acceptance of its existence.”
