Monte is the name of indie songwriter Matt Shacallis. After spending years honing his sound in the Sydney underground scene, with countless bedroom pop songs written, he’s ready to let the world in on his own brand of indie rock. With influences spanning the classics, Beatles, Oasis to the new sounds of Mac Demarco and Boy Pablo, the sound is about melody with plenty of guitars and feeling.
