STUNNING MUSIC VIDEO FOR
COMEBACK SINGLE ‘HER’
Last month, Bella Ferraro excitingly re-introduced herself to the world with her bold and daring new single ‘Her. With pulsating synths, echoing vocals and trap inspired beats bringing you into this new sonical world, she immediately captivated listeners with her recognisable tone.
Today, the Australian raised, and now UK based, singer-songwriter has unveiled the stunning accompanying music video to ‘Her’ which transports you into the eye of a storm. Building a contrast between vibrant and moody palettes, this dreamy music video centres around her silhouette with different skyline projections. With the sunrises and sunsets building into an epic storm, the song climaxes with a huge rainstorm that sees Ferraro dancing euphorically at the epicentre.
The release of the video continues the growing buzz that has surrounded Bella Ferraro’s return following her lengthy seven year departure from the limelight. First introducing herself to the world through her worldwide viral audition of Bon Iver’s ‘Skinny Love’ on The X Factor Australia, she went onto placing fourth and signing to Sony Music Australia. Following the release of her singles ‘Set Me On Fire’ and ‘Forgot You’, which have collectively surpassed 4.3 million streams on Spotify, she found herself feeling lost, uninspired and deflated.

Walking away from it all, she took time to embrace the rollercoaster of emotions of early adulthood, falling in love, heartbreak and experimenting with different sounds and musical projects. From there she found a confidence within herself that has sparked this bold and daring return to music.
Her’ hears Ferraro reflection on the uncertainty of a burgeoning relationship. But it also marks the first time that she has publicly revealed that she proudly identifies as queer, as well as intimately details a relationship so candidly.
“Lyrically ‘Her’ explores the stark differences in how this relationship was approached. I was dreamy and imaginative, convinced that everything would be fine; and she was cautious and cynical, sure that everything would go wrong. Ultimately, while our perspectives were opposed, they were similarly unrealistic” she explains.
